Adam A. Laben, M.B.A., J.D.
Attorney Laben joined the firm in 1996 as an associate and became
a partner in 2000. He is a graduate of the American College of
Switzerland with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business
Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. He
graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from
Emporia State University and received a law degree from the
University of Connecticut in 1990. Prior to joining Attorney Ansell
in 1996, Attorney Laben was employed in the tax departments of two
Big Six accounting firms in Hartford, Connecticut. Attorney Laben
now practices in the areas of criminal law representing individuals
charged with driving under the influence, drug offenses, motor
vehicle violations, violations of probation, assaults, white collar
crime, serious felonies, sexual assaults and family violence
offenses. Attorney Laben also practices in the areas of personal
injury and worker’s compensation; matrimonial law including custody
disputes, divorces, contempt and post judgment modifications; as
well as representing individuals with tax problems before the
Internal Revenue Service and the Connecticut Department of Revenue
Services and as probate matters and consumer bankruptcies.
